Discover the art of Kintsugi Workshop - Japanese Pottery Repair with Gold.

Repairing broken pottery with gold/silver and food safe and heat resistant materials.

Discover the art of Kintsugi, the Japanese practice of repairing broken pottery with gold and celebrating cracks rather than hiding them. In this hands-on Kintsugi workshop, you’ll learn how to transform broken ceramics into meaningful, beautiful pieces while exploring the ideas of resilience, repair and renewal. Rooted in the philosophy of wabi-sabi, Kintsugi invites us to see beauty in imperfection and impermanence. Instead of disguising damage, the repair becomes part of the object’s story. Bring a broken ceramic piece to restore, or work with a piece provided during the session. Through the process of Japanese pottery repair, you’ll create something unique while reflecting on the value of embracing change, scars and growth. If something is broken, it doesn’t always need to be discarded. Sometimes the repair becomes the most beautiful part.
